The newest addition to Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger’s family is Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt.
The parents of the second daughter shared the new arrival on social media, in near-identical posts. A white background, a pink ribbon and an image of their newborn with her name and date of birth were included in each post.
“We are so happy to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. Mama and baby are doing well. We feel very lucky and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris.”
The couple has not uploaded any photos of their daughter Lyla Maria, and it is highly doubtful that fans will ever see one.
Since they had their first daughter in 2020, they have been reluctant to show her face on social media. The last time they were interviewed was on the “Today” show last year to talk about being a new mother and the privacy they want to keep when it comes to their children.
“One of the best gifts my parents ever gave me and my siblings is the gift of privacy. It was as normal of an upbringing as possible,” said Schwarzenegger, whose parents are Maria Shriver and movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger, former governor of California.
She said, “We were allowed to be our own people. We were given the chance to have an identity of our own and choose who we wanted to be when we felt ready. I think that was generous and thoughtful gift to give us kids.”
Pratt and his second wife became engaged in January 2019, they wed five months after the engagement.
Pratt was previously married to the “Mom” star Anna Faris; they got divorced in late 2018. Faris and Pratt share a 9-year-old son, Jack.
