Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat trick in Al Nassr’s 3-0 win over Damac on Saturday to move to the top of the Saudi Pro League. Ronaldo, who has now netted seven goals in five appearances since joining Al Nassr, scored in the 18th, 23rd, and 44th minutes.

As a result of Al Ittihad’s goalless draw against Al Raed on Thursday, Al Nassr began the day knowing three points would propel them to the top of the table. Ronaldo opened the scoring from the penalty spot following a handball by Damac captain Ibrahim Al-Nakhli.

A minute before half-time, Ronaldo finished Abdulrahman Ghareeb’s outside-of-the-foot pass to complete his treble.

In the second half, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward had a fourth goal ruled out for offside as Damac struggled to contain Rudi Garcia’s side.
