According to Nashville police, Kyle Jacobs, a country music producer and songwriter who starred in a CMT docuseries with his wife Kellie Pickler, has died.

According to authorities, Jacobs died by apparent suicide in their Nashville home on Friday.

Officers and Nashville Fire Department personnel responded to the home of Pickler and Jacobs, located on Sneed Road, after receiving a 911 call at 1:21 pm local time.

According to a police statement, Pickler was up a short time earlier, did not see her husband, and started looking for him. In the statement, the assistant called authorities after she and her personal assistant couldn’t open the door to the bedroom/office upstairs.
