With Season 3 of The Pogues, the group of plucky teens will face a whole new set of adversaries. The Netflix teen hit explores the adventures of a group of working class locals in North Carolina (called Pogues), who are battling affluent residents (called Kooks) and other adversaries as they try to solve various mysteries together.

Several characters will be on the run after Season 2’s events, and the group will face difficulties both at home and in the Bahamas as Season 3 progresses.

It is expected that Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline will reprise their roles as John B Routledge and Sarah Cameron, respectively, and that their characters will be on the run. Series regulars Madison Bailey (Kiara Carrera), Jonathan Daviss (Pope Heyward), and Rudy Pankow (JJ Maybank) will join the duo. The trio will deal with their own issues at home where they discover a new truth.

Austin North, Charles Esten, and Carlacia Grant, who play Topper Thornton, Ward Cameron, and Cleo, will also return to the franchise. Drew Starkey will reprise his role as Rafe Cameron.

In June 2022, Deadline reported that Andy McQueen, Fiona Palomo and Lou Ferrigno Jr. had been confirmed to be joining the third season’s cast. McQueen is set to portray Carlos Singh, who is described as “a smart yet ruthless Caribbean Don on a treasure hunt of his own,” and Palomo is set to portray Sofia, a new Pogue who hopes to make it as a Kook one day.

Seeing Poguelandia come to life was spectacular, according to showrunners Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke, Variety reported. The Pogues are enjoying an adventure of a lifetime and we get to map out more twists and turns as the joyride continues into Season 4 of Outer Banks. I would like to thank Netflix, our cast, and our incredible fans for their support.”

Seasons 1 to 3 of Outer Banks are now available on Netflix.
