JPEGMAFIA is a famous Rapper, who was born on October 22, 1989, in the United States. His age is 33 years old. The artist has garnered major attention for his experimental brand of hip-hop, which incorporates elements of noise and electronic music. His real name is Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks. He’s the son of Jamaican-American descent.
Hendricks developed a passion for music production at the age of 15, and he began to produce after he had learned how to sample. While serving in the military, he started his YouTube channel joechillworld in July 2009. He uploaded songs, beats, and videos to share with others.
In the military, he met fellow rapper and producer Enso Sinatra. They made music together and formed the group Ghost~Pop. Devon Hendryx was also busy producing under the name of Devon Hendryx during part of his time in Japan.

Career
In 2015, he began making music under his username JPEGMafia, releasing his debut mixtape Communist Slow Jams in April of that year.
In just a month after relocating to Baltimore, he released his mixtape Darkskin Manson under the name “Ben Carson.” After releasing a number of mixtapes, Ben released his debut album in February 2016 via Deathbomb Arc featuring a much harsher and distorted sound than his other projects.
Four months later, he released an EP with fellow Baltimore-based rapper Freaky titled The 2nd Amendment. Right after less than three years of living there, Hendricks moved from Baltimore to Los Angeles to make his next studio album. In January 2018, he released Veteran.
After the release of Veteran, Hendricks has been hard at work on his next album. He had recorded 93 songs but whittled them down to 18 tracks. He mixed and mastered it at the end of Vince Staples’ tour, posting updates every now and then on Instagram.
Prior to the album release, he would label it as a “disappointment” in interviews and his social media posts. On August 13th, he released the single “Jesus Forgive Me, I Am a Thot”.
He announced his new album by uploading a series of listening sessions to his YouTube channel where friends and artists such as Denzel Curry, Jeff Tweedy (of Wilco) and Hannibal Buress discussed and reacted.
All My Heroes Are Cornballs was released on September 13, 2019, and topped the charts. His first album to chart, it received critical acclaim, and in October 2019 he embarked on a JPEGMafia Type Tour to support his new album.
The year 2020 saw Hendricks releasing several singles and compiling them into an EP. The EP, appropriately titled EP! was released on November 6th and streaming services on December 10th.
In February of 2021, Hendricks released EP2!, his second extended play. By October of 2021, Hendricks announced LP!, his first album, for release that same month on his birthday.
