During the year, the Whites clinched the Decimocuarta, LaLiga, the Uefa Super Cup and the Spanish Super Cup.

2022 has proved to be one the most spectacular years in Real Madrid’s history. The Whites enhanced their legendary status in world football by clinching another four trophies: the Champions League, LaLiga, the Uefa Super Cup and the Spanish Super Cup.

On 28 May in Paris, Real Madrid lifted their fourteenth European Cup, the fifth in the competition’s new format, something that can only be achieved by such a historic club. Carlo Ancelotti‘s men reached the final after some memorable European nights at the Santiago Bernabéu to overcome PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City. In the final at the Stade de France, Vini Jr. and Courtois inspired the team to victory over Liverpool (0-1).
 
Real Madrid finished the year as leaders in the all-time ranking of the continental competition. They boast 642 points and 14 European Cups, ahead of Bayern Munich (529 points and 6 trophies) and Barcelona (470 points and 5 trophies).

35th LaLiga title
The team clinched LaLiga mathematically on 30 April 2022, defeating Espanyol at the Santiago Bernabéu with four games to spare. Madrid dominated the competition from the word go, with Benzema winning the pichichi award (27 goals) and Vini Jr. contributing 17 goals and 10 assists.

5th Uefa Super Cup
On 10 August 2022, Real Madrid were crowned Uefa Super Cup winners for the fifth time in history after defeating Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 at the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki (Finland). Goals from Alaba and Benzema secured our club's fourth trophy of 2022.

12th Spanish Super Cup
The first trophy of the year came on 16 January 2022, when Madrid claimed their twelfth Spanish Super Cup. The madridistas lifted the trophy in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). In the semi-finals they edged out Barcelona (2-3) before beating Athletic (0-2) in the final, with a goal from Modrić and another from Benzema.
