Deepika Padukone was born on 5 January 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is 35 years old in 2021. Her father’s name is Prakash Padukone, who was an Indian badminton player in 1980. He was also awarded the Padma Shiri Award in 1982. Deepika mother name is Ujjala Padukone. Deepika has one younger sister Anisha Padukone, who is a Professional Golfer.

Modelling Career:

From childhood to the time she was a teenager she used to focus on playing badminton and even participated in national level championships at baddy court but she left that to focus on a modeling career in tenth grade. For a couple of years, she modeled in various ads and also did a music video with Himesh Reshammiya. That music video got her spotted and Wendell Rodricks the fashion designer recommended her to Malaika Arora who in turn recommended her to Farah khan.

Deepika modeled for various brands and products during her early modeling career. A remarkable one among others is the TV commercial for the soap Liril. Then in the year 2005, Deepika made her runway debut. It was at the Lakme Fashion Week for designer Suneet Varma.
