Early Life:

Allu Arjun was born on April 8, 1982, in Chennai, Tamil Nado India. His father is a well-known movie producer and distributor in Tollywood Allu Aravind and his mother is Nirmala Allu. Allu Arjun’s elder brothers’ identify is Venkatesh and youthful brother Sirish.

Allu Arjun completed his school education at St. Patric School, Chennai, and BBA degree from MSR College, Hyderabad. he was interested in acting since her childhood and used to participate in dancing, acting, and sports competition.

On 6 March 2011, Arjun married Sneha Reddy in Hyderabad. He currently resides in Hyderabad with his family. He has a son named Ayaan and a daughter named Arha.  Allu Arha is set to make her debut in the upcoming film Shaakhuntalam in the role of Prince Bharata.

Career:

Allu Arjun first made an appearance in the movie Vijetha, as a child artist. The movie was produced by his father Allu Aravind in the year 1985. However, the actor made his lead role debut with Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao`s Gangotri(2003). His promising debut won him four awards for his performance, including a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Allu Arjun’s second film Arya was released in 2004, and Arjun claims it to be his first major hit. Arjun’s third film Bunny was released in 2005 and his fourth film Happy was released in 2006. The film managed to make a decent profit in the Indian movie scene in the U.S.

In 2007, he further proved his acting prowess by portraying a role of a journalist with a macho image, doing incredibly well in action scenes. By 2007, Allu Arjun had starred in five movies and won at least one award for four of his performance. He carried this forward to his sixth movie, Paraugu, directed by Bashar. He portrayed contrasting emotions in the movie; from being a happy-go-lucky man in the first half to being an emotional person in the second half of the film. For his stupendous dance performance in the movie, Allu Arjun was deemed to be one of the best dancers in Tollywood. His sixth film Parugu was released on May 1st, 2008. Produced by successful producer Dil Raju, it was directed by Bhaskar. Sheela played the female lead in the movie and Prakash Raj played another major role. This film opened to a mixed talk but later went on to run 100 days successfully. 

Allu had two releases in 2010. The first was Gunashekar’s Varudu, in which he starred alongside Arya and Bhanu Sri Mehra. The film was a box-office bomb and received mixed reviews from critics. His next film was Krish’s Vedam. A critic stated commented “He’s a good dancer and does justice to his role.

In 2011, Allu Arjun appeared in V. V. Vinayak’s action film Badrinath. After Badrinath, Allu signed Trivikram Srinivas’s action Comedy Film Julayi in 2011. It was released in 2012, He lights up the screen with his dancing, in particular, pulling off some pretty challenging dance moves. He was nominated for the SIIMA Award for Best Actor (Telugu), for his performance in the film.

In 2013, he starred in Puri Jagannath’s action thriller Iddarammayilatho. His character of a guitarist, who is a street performer in Barcelona, was at its best sketchy and looks completely different from his previous films. He once again proves that he is a good actor and probably because of the action director’s meticulous planning, he makes perfect expressions in all the fight scenes.” In 2014, he appeared in a cameo role in Vamsi Paidipally’s action thriller film Yevadu, alongside Kajal Aggarwal. Y. Sunita Chowdary of The Hindu, in her review, wrote that “Allu Arjun shows what an actor can do even in a short role, in the few minutes he packs his experience, internalizes the character and makes an impressive exit even as he loses his identity.” His next film was Surender Reddy’s Race Gurram, in which he played Allu Lakshman “Lucky” Prasad, a carefree guy. Allu next appeared in Trivikram Srinivas’s S/O Satyamurthy (2015), which was released on 9 April 2015. Following the film, he next played Gona Ganna Reddy in Guna Sekhar’s biographical action film Rudhramadevi (2015).[better source needed] The film based on the life of Rudrama Devi, is the first Indian 3D historical film. Allu has learned and was seen speaking in the Telangana Telugu, for the character in the film. The Times of India called his performance “impeccable” and “whistle-worthy”.

In 2016, he acted in Sarrainodu. His performance in the action scenes and dance numbers was praised. The same year, in June, he announced his next film with producer Dil Raju for the third time for DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham. Released in 2017, the film was directed by Harish Shankar, in which he played the role of Duvvada Jagannadham “DJ” Shastri, alongside Pooja Hegde, Rao Ramesh, and Subbaraju.

On 31 December 2018, his next project Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was announced, with Trivikram Srinivas as the director. Pooja Hegde was selected to play the female lead role, thus marking his second collaboration with Pooja Hegde after DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham. He joined the production of the film in April 2019. He has appeared on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2014.nHe is the ‘Most Searched Male Celebrity in 2020 on Yahoo! India. Allu was the most searched Telugu film actor on Google Search, several times.

Allu started his part of filming, in 2020, after the release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Production of the film was paused for more than three-time, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. He will be playing the role of Pushpa Raj, alongside Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna. The film is based on the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. The film was released on 17 December 2021 to a mixed response but his performance was praised. In May 2021, it was announced that the film will be released in two parts, with the second part, titled Pushpa: The Rule, releasing in 2022.
