Tokyo: They are currently living in separate cities, but the Japanese twin and identical sisters in Japan were recently named Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s oldest lifelong twin sisters, and will turn 108 next month. ۔
Yumino Sumi Yama and Komi Kodama were born on November 5, 1913, on Shudu Island in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. The Guinness Book of World Records has sent certificates to their homes. The family in which the two sisters were born included 13 other members of their family.
Her siblings told reporters that the two sisters were about to meet and that their attitude was positive. Both are less likely to be upset. Among them, Yomino is very determined while Komi is very gentle. However, because they were twins, they were harassed and ridiculed. That is why the two sisters separated at an early age.
As soon as the two went to elementary school, a sister left the island and went to visit her uncles. One sister married on the island while the other married an outsider. The two sisters witnessed two world wars. Yumino had to leave his home in World War II.
The two are still 300km apart. Sometimes they meet at weddings and funerals. However, at the age of 70, they traveled together to Buddhist places. He has previously broken the record of 99-year-old twin sisters who were also from Japan.
But now Komi’s memory has been severely damaged and he is unaware of the importance of the Guinness Book of World Records. However, his whole family is very happy with this honor.
