Spain: When the Spanish woman found out that she was given to the wrong couple instead of her real parents at the time of her birth, she has filed a lawsuit against the hospital management for millions of dollars in damages. On the other hand, the administration has called it a ‘human error’.

She was born in 2002 in a hospital south of Bilbao, Spain, and after a DNA test, she found out that she was no longer living with her real (biological) parents. He later learned that he had been replaced by another girl born the same day. It should be noted that both the girls were in the incubator nearby. However, the two exchanged and their parents also changed.

The local government has acknowledged this and called it a “human error”. However, the health ministry said it was difficult to confirm after so many years who was at fault. The government’s position is that such mistakes are now impossible because today it is almost impossible to change newborns thanks to technology.

Details of the incident first appeared in a local newspaper, and the woman has since claimed علاق 3 million in damages from the regional health ministry. According to the Ministry of Health, the first complaint was lodged by the grandmother of the 19-year-old girl. In 2017, the girl’s grandmother filed a lawsuit against her foster father for non-maintenance of the child and requested DNA testing. It was later confirmed that the man in charge of the girl was not her real father. Similarly, the mother’s genes were also seen far away from the girl’s DNA.

The 16-year-old girl contacted lawyers and urged the health department to investigate. It turned out that only one girl had been transferred to the hospital that day. However, further investigation into the matter is underway to find the girl’s real parents.
