First Lady Melania Trump’s office announced that its 2025 Spring Garden Tours, originally set for Saturday have been rescheduled to Sunday out of an abundance of caution due to planned public demonstrations near the White House.

Officials say the change was made to ensure the safety of all attendees. The White House is coordinating with the U.S. Secret Service and the National Park Service to accommodate all ticket holders. Melania Trump is not expected to attend the garden tours.

Numerous organizations and activists across hundreds of cities in every state are galvanizing to send a message to President Donald Trump, Elon Musk with “Hands Off” protests on Saturday.

Hands Off! is described as a pro-democracy, pro-worker movement taking place “in defiance of the Trump-Musk billionaire takeover and the Republican assault on our freedoms and our communities.”

Tickets issued for Saturday’s White House Spring Garden Tour will now be honored on Sunday between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., regardless of the originally assigned time slot. Those already holding tickets for Sunday should still arrive at scheduled times.

Visitors are able to explore the South Lawn, Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, Rose Garden and the White House Kitchen Garden.

This is a developing news story and will be updated as more information is available.
