Ozzy Osbourne is scheduled to have a vitally important procedure next week. Because his wife/manager Sharon Osbourne said that ” [Ozzy] has a very major operation on Monday, and I have to be there,” it’s not clear if Ozzy will be able to continue performing in the future.
Sharon said it was a decision that would affect the rest of her husband’s life. She said she planned to fly back to Los Angeles to be with him during an unspecified procedure. Earlier this year, Sharon revealed that Ozzy had tested positive for COVID-19, at which point she said she was leaving her new gig on the UK chatter to be by his side in Los Angeles as he recovered.
Sharon stated that in 2019, Ozzy had a surgery to repair an old injury. Also in 2019, he was slated to have a second procedure on his neck after falling at home. He mentioned that 15 metal rods were dislodged due to the fall.
A month ago, Ozzy Osbourne reportedly told Classic Rock that he was awaiting the follow-up neck procedure while doing physical therapy every morning. He is said to be feeling better but not as much as he wanted to be.
Sharon is happy to share with us the news that her son Jack is expecting a baby daughter in the next few weeks and they will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on July 1.
Sharon said she didn’t know yet, but “depends on everything,” and she’ll see. She also revealed that her daughter Kelly Osbourne is expecting a child, her first.
Ozzy, the famous metal singer and lead vocalist for Black Sabbath and solo artist, always postpones his tour due to health problems and COVID, planning the European run in early 2023.
