After the Oscars, nominations for the 2020 Golden Globe Awards, the second world’s most prestigious award, were announced.
For the first time ‘Golden Globe Awards’, the films and dramas of the web streaming company ‘Netflix’ have managed to get big nominations instead of traditional Hollywood films.
Until a few years ago, traditionally made films and plays were at the forefront of the Golden Globe nominations, but now Netflix’s plays and films are at the forefront.
Netflix’s films and plays have been nominated in the 77th Golden Globe’s 25 most important categories, while the company’s plays and films have received 34 nominations.
The surprising thing is that even this time, no female director was nominated in the Golden Globe’s Best Director category.
A total of 25 categories have been announced and as a result of this awards will be given to winners, films, and plays on January 5 next year.
The 77th Golden Globe event will take place in California and this time, comedian Ricky Groves will host the event.
