Woody Harrelson has been called out by Ted Danson over a motorcycle crash at The Good Place star’s home.
During Wednesday’s episode of their podcast, Where Everybody Knows Your Name With Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson (Sometimes), the co-hosts and former Cheers co-stars got on the topic of motorcycles while interviewing world-famous magician David Blaine.
“He backed out of our gate up in Ojai, took it right off the track. It was days before I could get the fence working,” Danson said of Harrelson through laughter. “Sorry, I had to bring it up.”
Newsweek reached out to Harrelson and Danson’s representatives via email for additional comment.

Blaine, who is good friends with Harrelson, shared a similar story about the True Detective actor.
“In L.A. you cannot walk, but I have a motorcycle here to get around, which is pretty amazing,” Blaine said. “He takes my motorcycle, and the first thing he does is like, boom.”
“Puts it down?” Danson asked, to which Blaine clarified: “Yes! Right away.”
Harrelson chimed in: “Remember that time I borrowed his bike—I came and got it—I was working in upstate New York just a couple of years ago,” before Blaine interrupted: “And like he gives me pieces of the bike back. I’m not kidding.”
“He’s like, ‘Oh, here’s your mirror, it fell off when I dropped the bike, and here’s your tail light, it also fell off,'” Blaine said. “I’ll have pieces, I have pieces of my bike. I take pictures and send them to him years later.”
In June, Harrelson was involved in a motorcycle accident in Los Angeles while driving to a joint interview with Danson on the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast. He collided with a Tesla and sustained an injury on his wrist.
“I think a tumble is a fair term. I did go over my handlebars,” Harrelson shared on Conan O’Brien’s podcast after the accident. “I was honestly and embarrassingly passing this Tesla on the left that I felt was moving a little slow, and I didn’t realize he was moving slow because he was taking a left. I was on a motorcycle.”
When Harrelson and Danson got to the podcast studio, Danson wrapped up his wound.
“We’re in the bathroom and I was like, ‘You played a doctor right?'” Harrelson recalled asking Danson, who portrayed a doctor on the soap opera The Doctors. “He says, ‘Yeah, I also played a lawyer so we can sue the guy.'”

In July, during an appearance on Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert, Harrelson said the driver of the Tesla scolded him until the actor took off his helmet.
“He’s like, ‘I know you. I don’t remember your name,'” Harrelson remembered the driver saying. “I said, ‘Woody.’ Then we were doing some laughing before it was all over.”
Harrelson and Danson first met on the set of the hit NBC sitcom Cheers, where Danson played protagonist and former Boston Red Sox player Sam Malone and Harrelson played bartender Woody Boyd. The show ran from 1982 to 1993, and the longtime pals launched Where Everybody Knows Your Name in 2024. On the show, they reconnect with people from their past and have spoken to celebrities including Lisa Kudrow, Kelsey Grammer, Quinta Brunson, Bill Hader, Simu Liu, Jeff Bridges and more.
